No one can go wrong with going to camp or developing a camp. And training students in film is an excellent idea. I have a heart for high school students, maybe it was because I enjoyed my high school years. So, my thoughts are that those who are interested in film should go to one of these camps. It'll look good on references and applications, etc. I am a mentor. The training that I see is one-on-one training not twenty to one or forty to one. So, the process can be tight. One of these camps would certainly heighten anyone's spot on my checklist. That means, I'd like to see this kind of stuff! (not required, of course.)
