Lately, many of us get movie rentals at least a few times a month. Normally we all wait to rent the box office hits, in lieu of going to the movies. Here is a short list of some of the highest volume rentals in October.

One new means of accessing movies is movie downloads. There are websites that will provide virtually every movie made downloaded. This is a fantastic solution for those looking to make a large movie collection.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: Indiana is back in action, after a 19 year break. This makes four movies in the Indiana Jones series. In this, the latest adventure, Mr. Jones battles the Soviets. The Soviets are looking for ancient relics called the Crystal Skulls, and the secrets they carry.

THE LAZARUS PROJECT: Ben Garvey, once a bad boy criminal, is a changed man. With a stable home, and steady paycheck, life is going in the right direction. Then, he loses his job, and reverts to his old life of crime. People die during an attempted robbery, and he will pay with his life. Death by lethal injection awaits. Instead, he regains consciousness only to find himself in a psych ward. He now struggles for his sanity, and his spritual well being.

LINEWATCH: Mr. Michael Dixon is a well seasoned boarder agent in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. Eventually, his past is going to catch up with him. He grew up in a brutal L.A. gang, that he somehow got away from. When simple bad luck gives away his location to a member of his old gang, he and his family are put in a dangerous situation. For the sake of his family, he will take a huge risk, and work with the gang to bring a big drug shipment across the border.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This movie is about Scientist Dr. Bruce Banner, who has become the green Hulk. The movie is an epic tale of the marvel comic hero, the Incredible Hulk. Stars include Edward Norton, Tim Roth, William hurt, Liv Tyler. Louis Leterrier directs this film. The film style is sci-fi/action-thriller.

DECEPTION: Audiitor for the elite, Jonathan McQuarry meets corporate lawyer Wyatt Bose. This is a meeting that changes his life forever. He learns about “The List”, which offers a steamy sexual pleasures. But, he also finds himself in a scene full of deceipt, underhandidness and death.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a mission to discover what happened to his missing brother, professor Trevor Anderson travels to Iceland that sends him into the depths of our planet. This is a remake of the 1959 film, that was formed from the classic work by Jules Verne. Starring Brendan Fraser and Josh Hutchinson.

THE HAPPENING: Confused and frightened, teacher Elliot Moore, with his wife, and Julian, with his daughter Jess are all fleeing Philadelphia on a train. Their city has been thrown into chaos. People have been overwhelmed by some unknown malady, and are commiting suicide. Will mankind overcome this problem, or is this the last stand of the human race?

IRON MAN: Playboy, engineer genius, Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is taken hostage by Afghan fighters. He is instructed to create weapon systems for the insurgent group. He was wounded when his convoy was attacked, and has shrapnel stuck in his chest. To survive his injuries, and get away from the rebels, he creates a suit made of armor, that makes him super strong. Iron Man is born.

SPEED RACER: A cartoon from the 90’s with a new twist. Much like the movie The Flinstones, Speed Racer turns a cartoon into a feature film with actors. Speed Racer who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a very dangerous race that had cost his brother his life. With no one expecting him to win, and the future of the family business at risk, Speed Racer partners up with his enemy of the past, Racer X, to attempt to take the title, and keep his families racing business alive.
